Overview of the course

The AS Level / A Level Information & Communications Technology (ICT) is designed for students wanting to work within the IT, Technological and Communication industry. ICT is used everywhere in todays world and people with ICT and computing skills are very much in demand. A Level ICT combines practical skills with academic theory. Students study a wide range of relevant topics to meet the demands of a future working with the latest technology in a variety of settings. The skills that are developed will enable successful students to analyse current information systems and then to design and build improved systems to meet the changing needs of organisations.

Opportunities

After completing the programme, successful candidates may progress onto multiple courses at University, as well as various employment opportunities within the industry.
