Our learning providers offer lots of opportunities beyond your studies including a great enrichment programme and sporting opportunities.
Most of our Sixth Forms provide information about UCAS and the university process. Regular trips to universities and open days are scheduled across the year.
Our Sixth Forms benefit from regular sessions with guest speakers on a range of topics, such as student finance or finding an apprenticeship.
Learner Voice and Leadership
Most of our Sixth Forms allow students to take a role in whole school leadership on topics such as fundraising, community or school council. Most Sixth Forms elect a Head Boy and Head Girl to be the voice of students. The Powys 14-19 Network has a dedicated student advisory group made up of the senior pupils from all learning providers to make representations and suggest changes across the network.
Some of our Sixth Forms have recently taken trips to California, Poland and Germany.
All our Sixth Forms have access to a Careers Advisor from Careers Wales who can give advice and guidance on the world of careers.
